about
Tribal rock band, Elementality, and acoustic punk singer-songwriter, Joe Billy, have come together to create 'Storm’; a fusion of the two artists' unique sounds. Writing the song was an impressively easy flow between the two, despite having to work mostly remotely during 2020.
The song serves as a reminder that there is always a way to push forward in life over adversity, even when it feels like you can't. The intensity of the verses and choruses pave the road ahead, while the emotion of triumph can be felt most poignantly during the song's bridge through the chorus of voices singing 'And we walk away from yesterday!’
'Storm' released on all streaming platforms March 25th, 2022.
lyrics
I see a storm breaking the light
We can't sail through without a fight
I see a storm breaking the light
Let's hold our ground
And pray that we last throughout the night
Expectations
Don’t mean nothin to me
Life’s but survival
As long as we’re at sea
Towards tomorrow
Is all we ever know
Aiming for salvation in spite of the night
No navigation or lighthouse in sight
into the unknown
I see a storm breaking the light
We can't sail through without a fight
I see a storm breaking the light
Let's hold our ground
And pray that we last throughout the night
Denominated endeavors
Everything to lose
Everything to gain
Perennial convictions
Can they see all this pain?
Hollow mockery is all we receive
in exchange for blood sweat and tears, Hear our name
Your fated repentance has come
That you’ve tried to shove under the rug
all in vain
I see a storm breaking the light
We can't sail through without a fight
I see a storm breaking the light
Let's hold our ground
And pray that we last throughout the night
And now we walk away from yesterday!
I see a storm breaking the light
We can't sail through without a fight
I see a storm breaking the light
Let's hold our ground
And pray that we last throughout the night
Let's hold our ground
And pray that we last throughout the night
